question about warrenty on mobo

    Question about warrenty on mobo i got a motherboard a couple of months ago..... A p4 board it cost me 170 euro when i got the mobo frist i was using it in a normal setup in a system at home ...Then i got a vapochill case which i then moved the board into ...Which meant taking off the hsf bracket and fill the socKet holes with termel grease ...anyhow it didnt work in the vapochill case due to compatablity problems so i took it out and placed it back into the old system ....where it was working fine i then got a better mobo and decided to sell this one........ but when i put it into the buyers system it doesnt work there is power going into the board as i can see the green led working ...........so it is still under warrenty ......but the fact that i took of the hsf bracket and put the compound in the pin holes of the socket does this make my warrenty void ?????? it did work fine after all of this was done in the vapochill case ...but now its RIP any veiws on this would be wecome
