How long should it take to edit a Quark file?

A colleague in Japan produced a Quark file in low resolution. I need a high resolution file but have the English version of Quark and they are not compatible with Japanese. I asked the person who has the original file but they are making a big thing out of it. My question is should this be a 10 minute job or a half day…

Any experts of Quark who can throw some light on this?
