Sort out you tax free allowances with the revenue commissioners and they send your employer a certificate. Your employer then refunds (emergency tax - income tax). If you have a new employer (again), the new employer does it. If you are returning to college / going on maternity leave, etc. and not working, talk directly with the revenue commissioners.

If you're still working in the place, it'll be given back to you in the form of more tax credits up to the €300. That is, if you're liable for €150 for two weeks, then you just won't be taxed those weeks.
If you left and you hadn't got your money back, the company may give it back to you in a lump sum in your last pay packet, or you may have to go to the revenue, and apply for it back using a p50.
