    Hi.
As far as I can tell posession of untreated magic mushrooms is completly legal in the UK but I can't find any information on the laws here. Does anyone know if we have the same laws regarding this, i.e. posession of untreated magic mushrooms is legal?

    Cheers

Is it so difficult to search before asking a question, that thread is barely off the first page.

Today, while coming out of Croke Park, I spotted a van with www.majicmushroom.com written on the side of it.

Do they not appear naturally. So, how could they be illegal?..

Well cannabis plants could appear naturally, with allot of effort. hehe. But that would still be illegal.

Sorry, but cannabis is not a natural fungus :( , but it will probably soon be legalised for 'own use'. ;)

Sorry, but are you still talking about Ireland, if so what is that based on?

The general legal trend throughout the EU. Where the fact that cannabis is used on patients, by the medical profession for it's non -addictive therapeutic medicinal benefits, and the increasing number of member States including the UK where having a small amount for your own use is no longer a legal offence.

It is also now being widely acknowledged that cannabis substance is a relaxant that is much less dangerous than legal cigarettes or alcohol, and the myth that users are liable to move on to hard drug's is rubbish.

Yes, times are a changing, and Ireland is no longer the ill educated backwater it once was.

That's all very nice, but do you have any bases for thinking it'll be legalised in any way here? Do you know of any TDs or pressure groups that are pushing for it?

Keep this to one thread please.
The subject is borderline as to what I'll allow on this board.
