    Hi guys!

I need some technical help. I got NTL digital installed two days ago.

    My setup is the following:
    TV with one scart socket
Video recorder with one scart socket
    DVD-player with one scart socket
NTL Set-top box (silver one) with one scart socket

What would be the best way to hook up everything? Before I got NTL digital I had the DVD-player hooked up to the TV via scart and the video recorder hooked up to the TV via the RF connector.

    Any tips?

    Thanks!

Normally the NTL box comes with a dual-headed scart lead, one head goes to TV, the other goes to the video.

You can get a scart "double adaptor", this would allow the NTL and DVD to be connected to the TV, but you will need to walk to TV to switch.

    Not much else choice really.

    Thanks for your reply!

Do you know if there are other set-top boxes available from NTL with more connectors (scart and rf)? This should solve my problem since I could use the scart connector on the tv exclusively for the DVD-player. Walking to the TV to switch would be a bit of a pain in the "lower back".

Which one you got, the silver one... ??

Yep, Pace Di300-N. Not very happy with it anyways. Changing channels is dead-slow, some channels jerk/flicker, the splitter they installed is more than dodgy.

Regarding the splitter: when I even look at it crosseyed I loose the signal to the analog channels. I checked all connections several times.

Changing channels takes between one and three seconds, sometimes the channel doesn't change at all even though the set-top box receives the signal from the remote control.

I will note down some of the channels that freeze/breakup.
