Ok, heres my contribution to the logo for the website, I freely admit Im crap at anything artistic, this took a few minutes of GIMPing.. if any of ye come up with something, post it in this thread....

My 2c: when designing a logo (or selecting a design) always keep in mind its intended use. We're still working on a design for Mayo Archery Club. One of the criteria is that it has to be easy to represent the logo as an embroidered patch - so nice 3D effects and shading don't work so well.

Just something to think about. I know the applications will probably be different here, but it's still useful to be clear about what you want it for.

Adobe Illustrator. It's brilliant. I'd love to say I have a systematic approch. I just mess around until I come up with something that doesn't look ****e.

glad u like it. Do you need someone to work on the site? I can't do any fancy sh*t, like SQLXMLHTLM LMNOP crap, but I can make it look nice, for a small fee

Seeing as we have officially zero money, and I do webdesign anyway (just not graphics, as you have seen ) we should be ok. Wouldnt mind your final opinion when its all done tho

well hang onto the logo, you have my full permission(not that it's copyrighted anyway) to use it. I have a high res version, and illustrator files that you can use if you ever get round to printing/embroiding jerseys or whatever. pass on your email address and I will send them on to you.

Thanks for the use of the logo, very much appreciated, at the moment I only have my own personal blog, which is bannerless and has no traffic anyway

When collegearchery.com goes live I will of course stick your banner on the Thanks page, if nobody else has problems with it.

Work hectic as all living hell, but expect to be finished on Tuesday, will then have the site up and running by the end of the week.

By the way, if anyone wants to write some blurb about irish intervarsity archery and its history, ye are all welcome to give it a go

Well whats the deal? A year has gone past and still no website and very little talk of this association... Noel didn't I hear that you have the site made but are just waiting for Ewan to put it up! We were talking about this at the beginning of Aug and its still not up.........
