Hi All, in relation to my last post http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=179896 (cheers for all the useful advice on that one), I've ordered and recieved mostly all the stuff on it, in less than a week!, well done overclockers!
Ok, so I've started unpacking stuff starting with the PSU, the Antec TrueBlue 480W http://www.antec-inc.com/pro_details_powerSupply.php?ProdID=20481# . I was a bit surprised by the lack of documentation to be honest, as a total beginner in the world of pc building I don't know from looking at connections in general which one goes where, also there doesn't appear to be enough for everything (i.e. the only marked connecter says "Fan Only", simple enough except there's only one and the case itself has 3 fans :().
The mobo connection is fairly obvious, the worry here is what happens if I happen to put this in the mobo the wrong way around?, by that I mean there is no discernible difference right to left in the pin recievers on this connection.

So does anyone know of any site somewhere that gives a detailed layout of a psu, pictures of the different types of connectors would be nice too. Also any advice on how to add additional connectors as needed, I'm guessing this is the solution to only one fan connector etc, would this also be the solution on how to connect to the addtional connections from the case itself, like the front LED connectors?, it's a WaveMaster by the way.

    Any advice really appreciated.

    Damo

Each of the fans should have a male and a female molex connector on it, This allows you to connect the fans together and use the signle "fan only" connector to power all three.(Are you sure there is only one? Have a look again, my antec psu has 2)

As regards the mortherboard connector, that will only fit in the right way around so you should be ok in tat respect, just make sure everything clips in as it should.

The nice think about building pc's is thatf or the most part connectors only fit into what they are supposed to.

have a look at this website fpr help with building the pc.

H Truckle, cheers for that, so basically with the fans I form a chain with their connections, the final one going into the PSU connector?, as to the number of fan connectors, only found the one marked Fan only, there was a different connector also for the fan, but it was marked Fan monitor which I presume connects to the mobo to adjust fan speeds according to temp?
I'll check on the connectors again when I get home this evening, maybe I missed one, cheers for the link too.
