    Will it ever happen officially in Ireland? Can someone tell me what is the latest on this topic with regards to RTE and the governement? :confused:

    One clue is D.A.B. radio has been out ages now. With no-one here transmitting it :(

    DTT in the UK started November 15th 1998. Thats over half a decade ago...
    BBC started DAB broadcasts in 1996.

    I'm waiting to see if Dermot Ahern moves from Communications when the cabinet reshuffle happens....
