Self Destruct

No not in the eternal self destruct term. But recently Ive seemed to be going round in circles terribly.
Sept 02 saw me enter my final year of college a daunting thing you might think, but not really got to Christmas, done 1/2 my exams and was on course for a 2.1 or there abouts, then came Feb/March was working slowly on my thesis and During this time I had my 5th, and final, shoulder dislocation it was decided by my doctor that I sould definately go for an operation now.
Thats all I really remember between then and now, my thesis was due in for submission last August, which was deferred due to being in bandages most of the summer so was due in this March but due to procrastination and clerical errors I didn't do any of it at all so is now due in next week, maybe Im just feeling sorry for myself but I want to know where all my will and drive from that first term have gone, I dont really care about my degree anymore, I dont want to work with computers but seeing as I at best can only get a pass degree I dont care that Ive wasted the last 4/5 years of my life.

Now dont get me wrong it's not all been bad I got a wonderful gf 4 years ago, and wouldnt change that for the world, am now involved in a poker deeley with a few bodies from boards and im hopefully going to blow this city for a year or so.

Maybe Im feeling sorry for myself, maybe im feeling sorry for you after reading this rant, so sorry I just needed to get it off my chest.

See even this post went no-where just around in a random loop back to nowhere

everyone has a degree of indifference coming to the end of an exam period. I went through it. It's really horrible. You just want it over with. I feel that I should have gone on the beer. Once. Just to get my head away from it. Now you're a bit late on, but maybe get pissed, regret it the next day and use that regret to fuel a final drive through it. Honestly head down for a week and it'll be over. Fresh air will taste different. :D . As for a year away, lots of people do it, I had a year out it all depends on what you do with it. Ultimately it can do no harm though.

As for computers and a career, if you're good you'll get on. Most talented chap on computers I know got turfed a year earlier than I did in the old degree angle. The degree really is only a guide and after some experience no one really cares. You've had bad luck. I've seen people producing entire thesis in a week. From scratch. You're ahead of them!!! ;) good luck
