Up coming changes to UO

    Anyone watching the COB boards will know this. some of the changes coming up...

    Necromancy - Control and create undead, also harrass ghosts in some way.

    CTF - Towns are now controlled by Guilds. I don't have the details, but it will be something like CTF where one guild who holds the flag controls the town. People who own the town can control the population to some extent (eg. guard whacks, what creatures the vendors are).

    Tellytubbie Towns - All in town fighting will be disabled, as well as summoning will be stopped as well. You want to fight your going to have to take it outside.

    Evil - Blue PK's have the choice of staying Blue PK and loot thier kills, but with serve penalties and can't enter towns. Or turn they can turn evil, can enter towns and basically kill what they like when they like. They can't loot thier kills though.

    Good - People who go out to kill evils will eventually become paladins, which gives them bonus abilities.

    Guild wars - Some kind of running scoreboard on who's the best guild. Can't see Ooo getting anywhere wink.gif

    Fishing change - Now when you fish you have a chance of getting magical fishes (like potions only better) or tresure maps, or other junk (boots, etc).

    Stealth Nerfing - They will be changing this somewhat. Apparently stealth is great for tower looting. Saw screenshots from where 30+ people gatecrashed a tower and it took three hours to find and ban them all smile.gif

    Animal control (already in afaik) - Animals are now a lot harder to control unless your a tamer.

    new items - Beds, wedding rings (newbie item) will now be craftable.

    There's more, but I can't remember it.
