    Anyone know the advertisement on TV for the Irish defence forces. The one that shows "covert border patrol in East Timor" and the guys all face apinted up etc and the helicopters..It's like an ad for platoon. Anyways about 0.5% of people who join the IDF(irish not israeli) will ever go to East timor.
    anyways, the piece of music in the ad is really cool...

    does anyone know it. Hope so. Let me know.

    i dont know what its called but while that ad was running and my mate and i were jamming we would do a mess cover of it....

    yeah I picked the notes out myself messing around, but the original piece is great with strings in the backround etc. I may bave to email PR at military.ie... :-) wonder if they know.

    Was in the army when those adds were released and the advertising director actually spoke to our class about them . They hired someone to compose the piece, hence all the army based sound samples running through it. As to who the composer was and if it's downloadable i haven't got a clue!
