I'm thinking of applying for the M.Eng Telecommunications Engineering in DCU. I believe that the M.Eng in Electronic Engineering has got some of the same modules. Has anybody done or is doing these courses or does anybody know someone who has done or is doing them? Are the coursework/practicals difficult?

Did Electronics back in the 80's in DCU lots of maths, lots of equations, lot of fun as it was a small college and most people know each other. Bit of head down towards the end and your home. The course has not a lot of uses as a lot of design went abroad when we graduated but it sets you up to do anything...also gives you confidence to have done a decently tough course. The practicals where a bit of fun and options back then gave you enough choice. Seems to be easier to get into now.

As long as you enjoy the college life, do a decent job the course is only part of your life training.
