ok are there any irish peeps in the Olympics - normally I'm not bothered but you can't really miss the games cos everything is cancelled because of them. The only irish flag I've seen so far was on Channel4 news in a list of people who got kicked out for taking drugs!! :eek:

Ciaran Power came 11th or close to 11th in the cycling.

Andy Lee , a very good middle-weight boxer , who very well could get a medal .
Him and a Russian(got silver in sydney) are 2 of the best 2 middle-weight amateur boxer , but if things go right for both of them tommorrow they will meet in the quarters , meaning anly one them can win a medal .

and we have some rowers , and probably Paul Brasil in the sprints .(im not sure though)

The 2man coxless pair in rowing look like good bets to get at least a medal. The fours looked decent enough as well

We have the rowers later this morning. The showjumpers will be in action later in the week. Then of course there is Sonia, but I don't really expect much there.
