Laptop Wireless wont runn off battery

    I have an Acer Aspire 1500 with wireless card.

    I just got broadband and I've noticed that the wireless connection fails if I try to run the laptop off the battery or even if I run a very memory/CPU heavy program.

    Whatever about the multi-tasking, having to keep the laptop plugged in to use the wireless sorta defeats the purpose of having wireless to begin with.

    Anyone any ideas?
