Just wondering if anyone has tried to convert an AVI file back to DVD. I know of loads of programs to do this, but I want to know if the converted file will work in a standard DVD player that connects to your Telly.

Yes, I've been able to do this with many AVI files (even putting more than one AVI file on a DVD), and they play back perfectly.

I used NeroVision Express, but there are other freeware ones which could probably do the same job.

Give WinAVI a whirl. Quick and easy, a no brainer.
