Careful you're just giving him an opening to mention beating me heads up in the last sit and go of the night.

Ok, you want it here you go...

My stack gets murdered just after the freeze out and I'm down to 200 chips! 2 hands later I have 4400 in chips and find AK. There is frenzied betting preflop but I tough it out with my AK to the tune of 2800. Flop comes AAx I go all-in because I know Derrill will call me (only one left with money). He does and turns over A10 to my AK. 10 on the river sent me packing... (upstairs to the sit and go where I made goo of Bohsman, LaFatarsa, BrendanB, Norman, Muso... :p)

I'm going to specialise in a form of Hold'em where there are only *4* cards on the flop...

    DeV.

It wasn't the last sit and go...there was 4am silliness after the main event broke up.

Guess who was the bubble biatch? :(

You gotta realise when I raise like that I usu have the goods. It was madness of the 2nd guy to call ( not that I complained in the end ) :D

Was that the QQ vs KJ vs A10 hand I saw? Terrible call by the A10 guy. How many tickets were there?

Luke, I hope your dealing in tonights BSOP heat cause you owe me one.

For the second week in a row I'm ahead pre-flop with pockets 10's all-in vs crazy caller with A,4 of clubs. Now due to the unfortunate events of the recent past I'm not even checking if a Ace is coming down all I care about is the clubs. Only one club on the flop, well done Luke your doing your job just fine. Turn comes a club, ah I see what your doing here Luke your only trying to raise the tention for the crowd, make me a little nervous before the river.

Now Luke has this almost demon look in his face as he's about to deal the river. It's like he already knows what the river is going to be. It can't happen two weeks in a row can it? Yes it can and it did. New dealer please!!

Why a terrible call? If this was the hand I went out on then...
My memory is half my stack already in the pot...I'm committed and have very few chips left with the blinds at 2000/4000...call seems to be my only option. A10 looks to be lifebelt in that situation. A bad call with hindsight, but not terrible.

    There were 5 tickets and €50 credit. I went out 7th. :o

Lafortezza, meet Madsl, Madsl, meet Lafortezza.

You should always be careful what you say on the boards poker forum. These days you're almost guaranteed that "that random idiot" whom you're commenting on that you'd never met before in your life and who called you with 53o to knock you out of the twenty-in last night is a regular poster who's face you've never seen. and he's a probably a good bloke too. even if he is a terrible poker player. Obviously this isn't aimed at anyone in particular.

although...Luke is a terrible poker player, and i suppose he's a good bloke. probably

It wasnt a bad call so much as an unfortunate situation. I raised wanting both of you to fold but instead found one person in 'making a stand' mode and the other was thinking 'look at the value'.

Sucks when that happens but then I guess we've all been there.

    No offence taken.

Just curious as to what Luke would have done in the same situation...??

tbh I can't remember the hand that well...hands tend to get erased from memory along with the discards...

...maybe that makes me the (terrible) poker player I am...
