How to stop TV License...

I am going to sell my TV and cancel NTL and I won't have any way of receiving TV. There's no aerial on the roof, no Sat dish. I tried to find info about the proper way to cancel my TV license but couldn't find anything... What is the proper way to do it: a letter, just don't pay...? Thanks Raphael

Just don't renew it. You don't get a refund on unused time though...
