Problem running Kazaa

Ever since I installed Spybot and Ad-Aware Kazaa just won't run for me anymore,I try to open it and I simply get a "Kazaa has encountered a problem" notice.

I've tryed reinstalling numerous times but to no avail, would it be something to do with Ad-Aware/Spybot that's preventing it from running?

Or could it be actual spyware on my comp that's messing with it?

    Cheers

Kazaa lite 2.4.3 , if your going to try and use the kazaa (fasttrack) network tbh.

Its hard to find these days to dload, buts its ure best kazaa client available.

Sherman networks however are trying to crippple this clients ability to get files from there network, so its not as good as it used to be.

Don't use kazaa. It was a good program a few years ago. I remember when I started using it before it became popular there was only about 100,000 people online at a time. Over the next year that swelled to over a million and in another year it was near 4 million.

The program really sucks for fake files atm though. When you get mp3's off multiple sources there is a good chance you will get parts of the music that just go to white noise and weird sounds. The music industry has put out thousands of fakes. Loads of software is full of viruses or is fake with a renamed exe. I downloaded a few games that turned out to be something else.

Try e-mule. I find it's a much better program and support is growing for it. I haven't got a fake file off it yet.

Use overnet instead(aka e-donkey) Might be slow to download from but there are no subprograms like gain and avnet ,and it is not effected by spybot and adware

I use Shareaza a lot ( http://www.shareaza.com/) , haven't found any problems with it so far (having said that haven't used it for the last month as currently machineless after selling my last one). Found a lot more sources for me than either winmx or kazaalite which I've used for the last year or so, not as good as it used to be since the Man came down on it, but even in its prime it couldn't find half the obscure bands I manage to find on Shareaza. It also allows you to connect to EDonkey2000, Gnutella, BitTorrent and Gnutella2 (G2) Networks all at the same time, clever file split & join software allows you to download the same file off loads of different users from different networks. Word of warning though, if you're stuck with that poxy download limit like myself that a lot of broadband providers stick you with, be careful about how much you've shared if you're leaving it running when you go out, I left it on overnight and through work the next day to download a film, came back to find I'd got the whole film, but had also had almost 2gb (1/4 of my monthly quota) uploaded!

I downloaded kazaa lite ressurection. it goes through the motions of "searching" "connecting" "more sources" "remotly" etc over and over, i can leave it for hours and it gets nowhere. i set the upload speed to the minimum to speed up things but im getting very slow speeds when it does work. Ive got BB yet i only get download speeds of 2 and 3 kb per sec
    Help?

I think this a way kazaa trys to stop you using Kazaa Lite, but they came up with a workaround for it. Try downloading kazaa lite off oldversions. You should really switch from kazaa.
