Shooting from the hip (literally)

Was getting bored at 70metres today, so I decided to take the piss for a shot; held the bow at hip level, tilted it up, pulled it back half way and released; shot a 9!! I was so impressed with myself I took a photo, can be seen here... would like to point out that on the second attempt I shot a 2 :P Regards Ewan

I sometimes do that when shooting clout at distances well inside the bow's maximum range - it's hard (as you've found) to be consistent, but it's possible to be surprisingly accurate for all that.
