    Hi Folks
    First time posting here! Just wondering if anyone knows where i can listen
    to Gay Byrnes interview with Neil Armstrong?
    Would love to buy a telescope but i live in Cork city so not much use :(

    It doesn't matter where you live, you can still see stars. Invest in a good pair of binoculars first though. Check with RTE on the interview. There may be a transcript of it available on the web.

    I have checked with RTE and thy dont have it. They dont own the rights.
    If im lucky i can see two stars in the sky ,light pollution isnt a great help to astronomers ! :(

    Well I am in Dublin, but I still manage to see a lot. Light-pollution will effect your telescope too. Get out of the city a bit or find a nice dark corner. Well worth it.

    cork is nothing compared to dublin. it is better if you can get out of the city but you can still see alot. with a telscope it takes time. you may not see much when you first look through one but when you have adapted you will see more as time goes on, that said nothing beats a dark sky. if you are interested in astronomy you could check out cork astronomy club:-
