    anyone know where I can get a good quality reel in dublin and how much I would have to pay.

    These guys should be able to help you - expect to pay between €30 and €60 for a decent reel depending on what you're looking for. Try to get one that comes with spare spools.

    Tried buying online for the first time using Mikes a couple of weeks ago. I was on a strict budget (aren't we all) and I 'm pretty happy with the range they had on offer, the service and the price. The only thing was that they didn't have the 12 foot spinning rod in stock so I took the 11½ instead (what's 6 inches between friends).
    I don't think I will be buying from the tackle shops here for a very long time.
