Not soo sure if this is the right place to post.....
Just wondering if there's some sort of interface that you can use to connect a playstation2 to a PC monitor directly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you need something like this http://www.peats.ie/cgi-bin/shop/db.cgi?view=1&id=7868&type=6&sid=756602x0

Im sure you can find a cheaper alternative.

    They're called vga boxes. There's a variety of them here (http://www.lik-sang.com/list.php?nav=left_sub&category=219&) - that's a good company too - I bought a usb / PS2 adapter from them.

Alternatively (I know its not direct) - but you're graphics card might have vivo??

Failing that you could use a PCI TV card. The quality you experience won't be as good as with a real TV, as you effectively get antialiasing for free with a TV. You can use software (such as DScaler) to deinterlace the signal coming into the TV card and clean it up a bit.
I use my playstation2 with a Leadtek winfast tv2000 card - its adequate. Fine for watching TV but you notice the image isn't as good when playing games. And it really doesn't like games in 60Hz mode :)
