Problem with Soldiers: Heroes of WW2

Im on the second last Russian mission (theft), I have all the guards killed, and the Katayusha on the train, the problem is though is that when I try to escape with the train, at the last junction (beside the MG nest near the mission start), the train Derails itself when I try to cross the junction, mission failed. Tried it loads of times but just isnt working, I also tried ramming the train you sneak in on off the rails and drive past that, got em off the track and got past, but doesnt let you win that way either. So, any idea's? There are a few craters where german grenades went off near the track, could that be it? So are there any ways to repair train tracks, or alternatively any level skip cheat? (the level is finished really).

Had trouble with this map also same thing would happen to me But then it clicked. What you are doing wrong is that you are not hitting one of the livers which makes your train come off its tracks. You need to head to the wooden gate to escape and this is where you are Derailing. All you need to do is push the liver on the far right by the wooden gate as the train is coming to you. You would not think you would need to push this liver but you need 2 or the train comes off.

I dont think im explaining my self clearly. But all you need to do is look for the liver that you have not pushed and push it. Look around you will find it its close to the wooden gate leading to your exit.

Not clear in the slightest, but at least I know how someone else has fixed it, Ill try later and flick every level I can find, thanks for the help anyway

I had trouble with my liver last weekend.

By the way, when you use a lever, you don't always see the tracks actually change position but the yet the direction has been changed. Instead look at which way the lever itself is - ie. if you move it to the left then the train will go left at the junction. Pain of a level. Next one is good though - you get to use Katushya!

Sorry for the late, post but can't find any more references to this game on baords. Can I just say that I picked up this game in a bargain bin in early 2006 and I think its the best game I've ever played. I boought Comapny of Heroes after reading all the hype, and frankly thought it was a disappointment. Just tried the preview missions for the Heroes sequel, Faces of War, and while not bad, it tries to hard to ape the style of CoH, moving away from what I like about the original
