Jes-Computer.de shipping

    I signed up to Jes-Computer.de today to see about ordering a few parts that were a good 40 euro cheaper than komplett.ie et al, and when I went to the checkout the only shipping option available was General Logistics F*ckup (ie. GLS).

    How good are GLS with Jes-Computer.de when delivering to the Dublin region? I know that their level of service for komplett.ie is a joke.

    I've found them quite good, except when they get the address completely wrong ;)

    Mail them after your order and make sure they've got the address right, and you should be ok :)

    same company - same service i guess. At least with komplett its a fixed amount...last time i ordered, the DHL from komplett was cheaper then GLS from Jes. so i spent the extra few quid and went DHL so at least i'd get the stuff this side of 2006*!!

    I received my PC from Jes today via GLS.. arrived at work bright and early, I found the internet tracking annoying as it suggested that it went all over the place for fun - I suppose that tracking spoils us as now we can see packets don't always go to direct route - before we used not know that the packet took a circuituous route - it just turned up...
