Inspired by my recent discovery of Boot's Moroccan Rose "Body Souffle"...

    - Cost: €4.10 for one huge tub
    - Smells lover-ly (with a name like Moroccan Rose, how could it not?)
    - Best moisturizer I've come across in quite some time.

What cheap and cheerful products can you recommend?

    ...and no, I don't work for Boot's...

Is that an all over body moisturiser?

I use Boots mallow and cocoa butter body thingie* moisturiser...
Also Boots Mint, sugar and Lime body scrub, it smells yummy :)

I've often read that top make-up artists say that as long as you don't penny pinch on foundation and mascara then you can pretty much do what you want after that. I love expensive products but nowadays cheaper brands can prove just as effective for stuff like lipgloss or blush. Rimmel have a couple of shades of lipstick that look fairly identical to those of the covitable Nars convertable colour, I don't see why they wouldn't be just as effective slapped on the cheekbones. Personally I don't own any make-up thats remotely cheap/lower end, but as I'm returning to college soon I'm certainly keeping the eyes peeled for alternatives for when the going gets tough.....ooh ooh just remembered the best cheap prod ever, from Spain Perfumerie Boutique de Madrid Lip Balm, about €3.00, the most elegant packaging and yum, buy ten when you're on your hols. Cat Z-J swears by it for god sake.....and vaseline in the eyelashes at night (just a tiny bit mind) they'll be glossy and healthier in the morning , primed for some mid-range mascara.

    just to add to that

eyeshadow: No 17 - they do a really wide range of colours, including the sparkly ones, and depending on what sale is on in boots at the time you can get them as cheap as €2!

Bourjois do nice eyeshadows that aren't outlandishly expensive.

On the flipside, I would agree that more expensive foundations are better than cheap ones. The same goes for concealer imo - Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat is about 27 euros, but it is a fantastic concealer.

The Bourjois eyeshadows that come in the little pots with their own brush are lovely!

I agree about the Touche Eclat concealer, but as this thread is about cheap products, I'll say no more! ;);)
