Ahh I was lucky the game never gave me any problems (I know I'm going to regret saying that). But any way
Are you playing online when this happens???
If not if you have to many bots in the game you'll suffer really badly.
If yes was it just really bad lag ???

Did you play a single player game before patching up the game???
If so uninstall the game reinstall and go straight online patch up and see if that helps

I'm running the game on the bare min spec
    P2 400
    32 MB TNT2 Ultra (overclocked)
    128 MB Ram
and the game runs fine (ok so I'm playing in 640x480 16 colours) a bit slow to load but once I'm in I run fine...

Make sure you have nothing running in the back ground is always a good place to start as well..

OK. heres the only thing that seems to work for me. I have to do this pretty much after every patch frown.gif
    1. Uninstall the game.
    2. Re-install the game.
    3. Dont load it up, first off run the T2 first aid program to check everything came off the cd allright. Heres a link to the utility (its the updated one that accepts the UK EULA)
    http://dl.fileplanet.com/dl/dl.asp?planetstarsiege/tribes2/t2firstaid2.exe

    4. Run that, if there is anything thats Failed, use the utility to copy it across.

    5. Again, dont run the game, get this file to patch the game to the latest version

    http://www.tribalwar.com/tribes2/patch/21570-22337.exe

    6. run that. it will do its thang. now finally before you run the game, do a search in your T2 directory for any DSO files that are hanging around, delete them.

    7. Boot up the game, you will have to update the updater, doesnt take long.

    8. should be it.

If this doesnt work, i would perform the whole thing again, except this time re-install your video drivers first and take a look at this page:

    Good luck smile.gif
