    Sup lads,

Three weeks ago I got Sky +, but now I want to avail of a the mirror sub. Firstly how much is it a month?, secondly how long will it take to get a mirror sub card from sky, and finally how much should it cost me for a technician to install the second box?. Your answers and advice would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks

I think the mirror sub is €15
The card will be sent out immediately when you ask for it.

Its very simple to connect up the new box yourself.
You will already have a quad LNB so just buy the required amount of cable and insert into the lnb , the same way as the other two are in the spare socket on the lnb with the connector that you may also buy.
Likewise screw it into the back of the digibox at the other end with the f connecter.
    Dead simple.
Use your imagination as to whatever suits you when tie-ing down the cable between the dish and the room where the digibox is.

Dont forget both boxes must be connected to the same phoneline at all times.

If not,Sky willl send out three warning letters, one on each occassion a callback is missed and after that they may charge you full price for the mirror.

I had a problem earlier in the year while still on 56k (Now have ISDN) whereby the boxes missed a callback,( I had to disconnect them while online as I had too many devices on one line which interfered with internet speeds and I forget to reconnect them overnight) and I got two letters, each arriving only one day apart so be careful.

It seemed they counted the missed call from each box as a seperate fail so I then had in theory only one more warning remaining,so the three warnings are as such not as leniant as they might at first seem and are enforced much more rigiriously than the standard Digibox line requirement for the first year.
