    Don't know if anyone has done this.

    But for a year (with current offers etc) the prices for each of the broadband providers is as follows.

    Basic Packages: -

    Eircom = €360 (Special offer for Flat rate users)
    Esat BT = €382 (3 months free + 4th month free if you sign up for 12 months, Connection charge included)
    Irish Broadband = €569
    Netsourse = €441
    NTL = €200 (Not available everywhere)
    UTV = €369

    If I have left anyone out please post.

    Not Your Ornery Onager

    Would Esat not be €312 (8x39) Std 8GB cap?

    ps If you take their Advantage Plus for €25 (all local/national calls < 1hr long 'free' with this), then the price for BB comes down to €264 (8x33)

    Their next up BB offering €396 (8x47) 16GB cap, 24:1 contention drops to €312 (8x39) if you take Advantage Plus.

    Advantage Plus is a nice way to cap your total bill.

    Assertion for Digiweb HomeJet!

    I did my research on bb offers, spending my last days reading T&Cs and users' reviews on the services available in Ireland.

    For Digiweb HomeJet:
    connection fee applies = 89 euros
    Therefore, for one year = 440 euro

    Perlico (http://www.perlico.com/perlicoathome/broadband/)
    512K, 8 Gb, 3c/Mb excess charge
    monthly rate = 35 euro
    connection fee = 95 euro
    for one year = 410 euro (3 months free)

    However, found no reviews on Perlico bb service yet

    I think it's fair to say that they're all not available everywhere. NTL may be limited areas, but at least everyone in those areas can get it.
