Anyone else with an eircom mail account notice a substantial increase in spam ever since they introduced theyre spam protection service. Smells like mo money to me.

I think its the same for most service providers, being a former employee of BT I noticed a lot of customer complaining about a large increase in spam.

Spam is on the increase alright. I have an eircom account but I use www.0spam.com as my spam blocker. It takes a bit of confuguring but it keeps most of it out of your Inbox. Of course you have to go into your 0spam account itself to clear it down every so often, so in some ways it is no different. :)

6 months ago, i recieved no spam at all on my account but now it just coming and coming, 30+ emails a day. outlook picks up all of them bar 1 or 2 but its still annoying. Who'd pay eircom money for that spam protector nonsense anyways?
