MMS with V300

I'm having trouble sending MMS using my newish(about 6-8 weeks) V300. When I try to send the message, I get an error message, and it fails. I have all the settings in correctly, and o2 say its set up correctly at their end. What else can I try?? They want me to bring it into a local o2 shop, who will then send it away, which probably means 6 weeks without my v300.

Does anyone else have this problem?

    Regards
    Brendan

The issue appears to have resolved itself. Most bizarre. Anyway, I would still like to know if anyone else has this problem.

I had the exact same problem with mine for the last couple of weeks but it's from switching over from Vodafone to O2.

Have a Nokia nGage. Went into O2 store and spent 40 minutes with the guy behind the counter fiddling with my settings. Then rang O2 and asked them to resend the settings.

He made about 12 new connections. And said all the settings are correct and it's still not sending. Must be a faulty unit and told me they'll send it back for you.

I said i'll have to try and find my receipt. Left the store and found a GPRS setting in my connections he never went into, that was on 'isp.vodafone.ie' so i set it to 'www.o2.ie'

MMS Messages sent perfectly now! Don't bother going into those O2 stores - they're fuc*ing useless!!

What message was coming up exactly? "Message sending failed" / "Invalid access point"??

It would say sending, but then sending failed. Anyway, it appears to have fixed itself. Must say though, the experience left me entirely unsatisified with o2 customer care (which I wasn't happy with before hand). They said the despite buying the phone from their online shop I should go into the local o2 shop (owned by someone other than o2 btw), and get them to fix it. They wanted to sent it away. GRRRRRRR.

Glad to hear you got yours working also.
