I seen a thread on here a while back about renting the eircom cordless phone from them but can't find it. Anyone know if there still doing it or where you ring cause I rang the woman and she said it wasnt possible to rent one.

Why in god's name would you want to rent a phone from Eircom, when you can own one for the cost of a few months rental?

Cause it's not for me, it's for an elderly neighbour of mine who gets free rental anyway.

theres loads for sale in Argos catalogue, some are pretty cheap, especially if he/she only wants an analog one(ie no SMS capability)

I'm pretty sure that free rental only covers cost of line rental
