I am working on reworking an old PC for a friend.
    Its a 1Ghz P3 with 512mb of ram and a 120gb hard drive.
Ive installed Win XP and its running well.
The only 2 graphics cards he has are an S3 Trio 3D which has 4mb of Ram (Shocking!) and a Voodoo 2 PCi.
Ive put the Trio in the AGP slot and the Voodoo 2 in a PCi slot and fed the signal from the Trio thru the Voodoo 2.
Ive installed the most up to date drivers for both, says they work on XP.
The 2D performance is good but 3D is a disaster.
I cant get ay games to work not even really old ones, circa 98.
I heard the Voodoo cards were good in their day so I'd expect it to run the old games.
Is their some way of getting the Voodoo to be the master or would it be easier to get a new low end card ?

get yourself a geforece 4 mx440, class little card, set you back about 50-60 blips, and is, unbelievably, capable of playing doom 3.

The Geforce4mx is a fine card ,I had an mx460 for 2 years but upgraded to a Ti4800se.
Will tell my bud to dump the voodoo.
