Big Black Books fan myself and after having a rip roaring time at Dylan Moran in Vicar street recently I've decided to head along to see Bill Bailey next month. I love him in BB and Buzzcocks but anyone know if the live thing is worth the admission ?

Haven't seem him live but i heard he's brillant!

Reviews in papers say he's one of the best around.

    Well worth seeing, i'd say!

PS - Can't beat a bit of 'Black Books', can you?

Going on live performances I've seen him do on television I'd say he's definitely worth seeing. One of the smartest stand-ups around apparently.

    I think he's hilarious.

Indeed you can't. First series esp. is just fantastic. Love Manny in the episode he falls into the shady world of beard porn.

The live in NY cd is great. He seems to interact with the audience a lot. I might have to go see him when he comes over here

Some of his Mp3's to look out for are Unisex chipshop and The Cockney eye of the Tiger, both hilarious.

I saw him about 3 years ago in Bewilderment and he was great, bought the CD.
Then I went about 2 years ago, and saw him in Bewilderment.....
Same show save for 3 or 4 improvs, I was pretty pissed off let me tell you.

I was at Bewilderment when it was in Dublin about 4 years ago...

It was very good, I bought a signed Bewilderment CD and everything.

This new gig does seem a bit pricey to get in to alright, but it's a different tour, so I'd assume it's all new material.

Seen him twice now, once in Dubin, once in Belfast, brilliant both times. Thinking about making the trip down myself again (in Belfast now).

    Always worth going to see!

Saw him twice in Dublin, fantastic each time. His musical mastery is only matched by his latteral thinking and tengetial offshoots into the weirder side of life.

If you like alternative comedy, go and see him, you will not regret it.

I saw him in the Olympia about 4 years ago. It took a little time for him to get warmed up but after the 1st fifteen minutes, he was really belly-aching good. Go see the show
