    Just curious I know the way that 2500 doesnt mean its ment to be 2.5Ghz, but i'm guessing its ment to be quite a bit more than 1.1ghz? What should it be running at in the Bios normally the FBS/Mhz setting thing, prior to any overclocking?

    In regards to overclocking how many Mhz/fbs do you increase it at a time to reach the 200mhz max make making it a 3200xp speed? Can I just jump it up to the 200Mhz mark?

    Thanks,
    -Coz.

    The motherboards probably defaults the FSB at 100mhz, put it up to 166mhz for default 2500 speeds, or 200fsb to overclock it to 3200 speeds.

    166x11 = 1833mhz = 2500+
    200x11 = 2200mhz = 3200+

    What I would do, is run it at 2500+ and then play games, watch movies whatever for about an hour and then let it cool off for a while. See the idle temps. Play a fairly intensive game for about 20 mins, and then check the temps straight after. If they are low (~40 for idle, ~45 after playing a game) you are probably safe.

    If it doesn't boot at 200fsb, try uping the vcore more, to say 1.675 and finally to 1.7 (I wouldn't go any higher) and see if that helps. If the temps are getting too high, consider a new cooler, or don't overclock.

    better off in the hardware tweaking board . but in a answer yes and no .

    your best bet is to slowly increase the fsb try 173x11.5 or 11 see how that goes .depending on ur hsf and motherboard and other hardware u might get limited on ur max overclock .
