hey folks I am using dvd shrink to copy MY OWN dvds, I got this firmware that speeds up ripping to 12x, but i dont know if it works, my dvds are still taking about 2hrs to ripp, on a pioneer 106.

Has anyone any help or advice for me thanks

The overall ripping speed would go faster if you used DVD Decryptor to copy the vobs to your harddrive first, and then ran the vobs on your harddrive through DVDShrink.

Ideally though, you'd use DVD-Rebuilder (check out doom9.org) to encode the DVD's to DVD-R, it results in much better quality, especially on stuff that needs 25%+ compression.
