    Hi there,

Any one know any good products/what can I do about greasy hair?

Immediately after washing it starts getting greasy already and to top it off I have dry ends.

    Any advice would be great.

    Thanks

I am using at the moment a new product called TRESemme.

The conditioner and Shampoo are for Volume hair.

I have tried Sun Silk for greasy hair. Pantene. Cleansing shampoos.

I have below the shoulder hair. It may seem a silly problem but its really bugging me now. I washed it yesterday evening and already I can feel the top greasy (that was using the Oz hair products).

    Hummmmmm

just wondering how often do you wash your hair?
the more you wash it, the faster it gets greasy, maybe that's your problem

Sounds to me like your not rinising out the shampoo properly. Any shampoo residue left will make your hair dull and generally icky...
Also make sure you only apply conditioner to the ends, not the roots unless it says to do so on the bottle.
You only need a small 50c size bit of shampoo! And add plenty of warm water and it should lather up pretty well....
Make sure you rinse thouroughly, its v.important... rinse for 5mins.
then give your hair a final blast with cold water as this flattens cuticles and makes hair shiny... well it works for me!! :D

I have fairly short hair and have the same problem. I really hate having greasy hair. If I let my hair get a little bushy I find it impossible to go more than 24 hours without washing it.. Shaving it with a 2 or 3 blade means I can go maybe 48 hours but thats the limit..

What annoys me though is that I have nice soft hair (so every girl tells me anyway) yet it gets dirty looking so quick.

I dont wash it evey day (was told about over washing apparently stimulates the sebacous glands). I have shoulder lenght hair so I couldnt wash it every day (am not complaining about washing it at all but it takes about 45 mins to wash and blow dry).

I just put conditioner on the ends, never ever on the roots.

Its exactly like you said there jebus, you wash it but it still looks damn dirty.

Are there any products anyone has used / they found good to stop greasy roots/dry ends?

    Thanks!

Peter Marks have a shampoo for greasy roots and dry ends(kerastase), but I would reccomend getting the ends trimmed as maybe they're dry cos they're broken or split.

Tea tree shampoo will sort that out a treat, charles worthington does a good 'anti-dandruff' shampoo that de-greases that too, it's called 'Balancing Act' and it's fantabulous.
    Ot tea-tao either.
Keep in mind what kind of conditioner you use too, that could be causing the problem, as mentioned above it could be leaving a residue.
