much like his Bolton Halls DVD, but great nonetheless....

It was practically word for word from the Bolton Albert Hall DVD... but great nonetheless!

    The man is a genius!

Shame he's taking a few years off touring... would pay serious money to see him live.

Taped it earlier and then sat down to watch it. Just finished watching it a few minutes ago and, I tell you, this is one tape that is not getting taped over!

I sat watching it with tears literally streaming down my face. He really sets out to prove that the old saying, "It's funny 'cos it's true" is so true because everything he mentioned tonight can and does happen in real-life. It's only when someone points out how funny it is like he did tonight that makes you stop and think how funny a particular real-life situation is.

    Loved the "Bullseye" stuff -
"It'll take me the break to count this out." 40 quid, Jim! That's all it is! Jesus, what are you counting it out in, 2p's!

"Here's what you could have won. Right lads, take it back, take it back!"
Imagine that at a wedding. Right John, here's what you could have married!

And the impression of Bully walking across the screen with the dictionary spelling out the word was classic! :D
I remembered that so clearly but, as I said before, it's not until someone like Peter Kay points out how funny it is do you actually realise.

Also loved the wedding stuff. And the
"Danny Boy" rendition at the end with the helium-filled balloon
had me on the floor splitting my sides!

I'll say one thing about him, though. For a big guy, he can't half move, can he? Wish I could pull some of the dance moves he did! :D

*Edited with spoilers for those who may have also taped it but haven't seen it yet! What a considerate guy I am, eh? ;)

Anyone that enjoyed the show tonight should get his two Live shows - they're brillant!

Live At The Top Of The Tower
Live At The Bolton Albert Halls

Practically all of the stuff in tonight's show was from the 'Live At The Bolton Albert Halls' DVD but plenty more stuff besides that! There was a lot of stuff in the show tonight that was cut (as people who saw the Bolton Albert Halls show would notice)

Such as (spoilers): 'the funny run that dad's have' was shown in the YMCA joke came on (but wasn't shown in the show)

Watching it has made me remember to start giving my Mum three rings again once in a while, and I don't even live with the parents anymore!
