    Afternoon,

Sorry to bring up the old Simspons issue again but in your the readers opinion is your least favourite Simpsons character. I have to say everytime that a Lisa devoted episode on I have to immediatledly turn off. I cant stand the character at all. As for the woman who plays her ( WEIRDO ).

Yeah Lisa seems to be the 'straight guy' all too often... too moral and whingy for anyone to relate to.
I find Sideshow Mel annoying for some reason... and bumble-bee man... Also Mrs. Skinner (Agnis?) is a horrible old bag who's more irritating than anything else.

Mandula (sp?), Apu's wife. The only person on the simpsons that I could say irritates me.

    Granpa and Lisa Simpson.

    Marge or lisa I think.

To be honest, I find Bart the least likeable out of them. Especially the early episodes where all the stories where based around him and the climax of most gags was 'Cowabunga dude' or 'Eat my shorts' or such nonsense.

Never really thought about it but do find the ones with Lisa as the central charactor are boring. Remember the one where she goes to the seaside and tries to be cool. I hate that episode. Or the episode where she misses the museum exhibit - it only gets good when Homer finds her and they break into the museum. Homer is the highlight of all the episodes - I love him

Lisa could be the perfect comic character. She does represent that little part of us that gets carried away sometimes. Unfortunately the writing just isn't good enough. She should be able to make the people she represents able to laugh at themselves.

For example I'm on a health thing. TV moments that made me laugh at myself - Black Books where Fran takes up Yoga and tries giving up chocolate, alcohol and cigarettes but fails miserably and wonder why the yoga doesn't make her feel good any more. Frasier when Frasier's girlfriend is going on about giving up alcohol, processed sugar, dairy etc. and Niles makes a quip about throwing wholegrain brown rice at the wedding. Quite a few others that made me cringe and laugh.

Lisa on the other hand then is simply always right and noone cares to make fun of her :(

I don't see why you don't like Granpa. He has some of the funniest moments. Like when he rambles on with some story. "the important thing is that I had an onion on my belt. which was the style at the time" I love that guy. Least character is tricky. I can see why you all say Lisa but she doesn't really annoy me that much. Most characters in the first series probably. It's an awful series. The storylines are cheesy and the jokes aren't funny.

Before 1998 or so, Krusty the Clown. Since 1998, all of them.

I must say there was one other character I couldn't stand was Mr. Bergstrom, yet again another Lisa episode. I felt like beating him to death with his cowboy boots by the end of that episode.

Since all the good writers left Homer's character has become a parody of himself. They're all sh*te now. They really should kill it off.

Lisa, i'll never forgive her wrecking the BBQ

Homer: It's just a little dirty! It's still good, it's still good.
(Pig hits side of the bridge and falls into river)

Homer: It's just a little slimy! It's still good, it's still good!
(Pig flows into dam where it gets lodged in drain hole and then flys)

Homer: It's just a little airbourne! It's still good, it's still good.
Bart: Dad, face it. It's gone.
    Homer: oow, I know.

    God dammit I hate Lisa.

Without Lisa you wouldn't have the above classic lines (and when Burns says "I think I'll donate a million dollars....") - the fact is you need a char like Lisa to act as an antagonist; which is why you don't like her.
