What are your opinions on this feature
    of the Iriver?

does it only display .txt files...?

Does it tire out your eyes after a while?

afaik only .txt files. Wouldn't say it would tire your eyes, contrast etc is adjustable.

would you read an entire book through the text viewer?

bah... I wouldn't anyway, not much of a reader, I'm a music lover myself.

It would probably be allot of effort, having to convert it all to txt files (there is a limit to the size of a text file it can read) It's big though so don't worry I think.

If you had it all in txt you could read it though. you could just go for audio books!

That's something i haven't got round to trying yet. It'll beat reading books of my S55 anyway. Can you listen to music at the same time?
