Just wondering if there any difference in quality between MP3 files and WMA files if both have the same bitrate, eg. 192Kbps. What are the pros and cons of each format? Thanks.

    Here:

    Makes for some interesting reading.

My experience / knowledge with audio formats is this:
The latest versions of MP3 codecs generally give higher quality than WMA.
At the lower bitrate e.g 64 kbps; WMA usually provides a better size to quality ratio.
I know you didn't ask about OGG; but it's coming into some prominence. Say... a 96kbps ogg file usually is >= to a 128 kpbs MP3 file.

    I endorse the OGG recommendation.

AAC is also pretty good if you have an iPod or other hardware player that plays AAC.
