    My pc specs are
    733mghz
    64mb RAM
    Pentium 3
    Intel(R) 810e Chipset graphics driver
    4gb hd

Now i know these are really bad the pc is a few years old...im just wondering am i better off buying a new pc or just upgrading this one?And if I upgrade how much would it cost ( to be able to play a game such as DEus ex 2 )

and how much would a new pc cost if all I got was the tower part?

1st question is how much yah got?

Tbh the "Computer from hell" on Jes.de (see thread below) would be perfect for anyone looking to upgrade, quality pc.

you're best off buying a new computer mate but build it your self

komplett and jes have very good kits that are good price wise

Well i wouldnt know how to build a pc myself would you not need to know alot about them to do that? What i know of them is fairly good but still i have a lot to learn.

Whats better about building it yourself? and whats the cost like?

    ( I always like a challenge lol )

well it's certainly cheaper than dell anyways.

it's not that hard. if you read the manuals that come with each piece of hardware it's easy. processor's, gfx cards, sound cards can only slot in one way so there really isn't any difficulty.

i done it myself last year and i didn't run into any hiccups at all.

Its not cheaper than Dell dont belive that crap(not you cremo just that in general), its only cheaper than a Dell when you have some of the parts yourself.

You can buy cheap ****ty pcs from Dell with TFTS that you would not build yourself for that price. problem with them is they ****.
    Things you need:

Case and power supply (300 watt minimum) €50 (thats a crap case)
Mbo RAM Cpu bundle €220 (Xp 2400 ,512 DDR , abit KV7 board)
A CDrom /Burner You may have one already money saved if not €50
Dvd burner if you that way inclined €89
Luckily above card has built in5.1 sound and Lan that saves you cash.
Graphics card the jewel in the crown 9800 Pro €189
    17" CRT €50 15" TFT €250
Standard Keyb and Optical mouse €25
    HD 80GB IDE €60
Operating system €150 or your old one or you may be a warez monkey so free.

So €755 with CRT ,€905 with TFT €1155 with Win XP

Computer from hell on Jes isnt far off the above PC for 1200
Dell do less in Ram and G card for €700 with TFT
