How do you get your online news

Was just wondering what way you all get your online news?

I use a program called Feed Demon and have a subscription with Newsisfree.com who supply all the news feed links in one handy area.

It's really handy as I can simply click on update button and I get the latest news from the feeds I have entered.

So, How do you like your news delivered?

I generally stick to tv news, teletext and papers, but if I am going on the net for news, It would usually be BBC Online, RTE Online and the Irish Independent (a reflection of my news intake in other media types!). I also sometimes check yahoo news, although just a glance, and google news is a pretty decent collection of sources too.

I often just come across news when you see someone posting something in a forum like here. Say someone famous had just died, threads start popping up in places like here. Then you'd choose where to go for more information, maybe by a search engine or one of the TV channels or whatever. Sometimes you might just go to your TV if a news broadcast was due, or go to Sky News.

I would definitely recommend a good
RSS reader. theres quite a few free ones to play around with.

After that www.guardian.co.uk is a terrific site and have a look at www.nytimes.com

Whiles theres unlimited potential here: http://www.onlinenewspapers.com/
