    Anyone here lives in Clondalkin?

    what ISPs are available there?

    eircom
    UTV?
Digiweb - just called them I think they are available
    Netsource?

    who/what else?

Sorry guys I always use a search function, but this time I have a very little time, because I'm moving stuff from my apartment the contract is already over and I have to move out fast!, so I can't spend time searching

    Thanks!

If you can get eircom there, you can get any of the other ISPs aswell.

I'm from Clondalkin and i have IOL
Clondalkin have coverage from all main isp's at the mo.

I would recommend going with IOL but i have laods of probs with them, i used to have Eircom, had probs with them 2, you should try either NTL, IrishBB or else UTV(are crap for gaming)

    Thanks for your replies guys!

I did some looking around and work myself and IMO I'll go with one of these

    Netsource Enterprise - 1024k/256k, No Cap(Very important to me), 24:1 - 85 euro
    Digiweb BizJet Enhanced - 1024k/256k, No cap, ??? - 89 euro
    EsatBT - 1024k/256k, No Cap, ??? - 87.5
dunno about IOL and UTv? I think they have caps don't they?
IrishBroadband and Wisp - they are wireless so... all bad weather... no connection makes CyberGhost a dull boy

plus they are 8:1 and while with ADSL you still get the full speed, IBB and Wisp are shared! which means even if you have 1MB line when it's shared by 8 people you get 12.8 Kbps instead of 100Kbps, I read long time ago, many people complained about that!
and the last but not least NTL and Chorus BB, both not available here :( plus NTL got it's balls cut off = capped, 15GB in a month!? I can download that in 24 hours!

ah sorry! I made mistake there!

they have 1 GB per day cap, not 15GB per month

    But!

at 1.5 megs you can download 15 megs in approximatelly 26 hours

They're not really. Sure, one owns the other which is in turn owned by another company altogether, but they are seperate companys with different products and markets. IOL and EsatBT have seperate DSL services. IOL provide dsl services over all the eircom-enabled exchanges, EsatBT only provide dsl services over the 40 or so exchanges that they unbundled a few years ago. IOL's target markets are the general public and SMEs, EsatBT's target market is the large corporates.
