Very nice work Valentia. How is the 10d regarding sharpness, do you have to use an unsharp mask? ANy other tweaking on the shots...

    Thanks allee.

The sharpness depends on the lens. I got a Sigma 70-200 2.8 and a Sigma 12-24mm. They are very good but the 70-200 is not as sharp as a Canon "L" lens would be but I can't afford one of them. I used a PS action to simulate a Velvia look on some of them.

In my opinion every digital photo can improve with a bit of tweeking in PS or similar progy.

    Thanks again for your comment.

I agree with that. I ask about the unsharp mask as I have a D30 for many a year now and I always have to unsharp mask as the images are always a bit soft.

There are thousands of puffins and they are used to humans so it's easy to get close. I have a good telephoto lens with a 2x converter which can give me an effective 600mm when the 1.6 ratio for the sensor on the 10D is taken into account.

Everyone should visit the Skelligs at least once in their lives

Wow, Valentina, those are absolutely stunning! I love the Velvia-like processing. Looks like I'll have to head on over to Skelligs for a photo trip some time very soon - the place looks beautiful.
