Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Labels that itch

I hate the way nearly every clothes company sews labels inside the neck of tops. They're always really itchy against skin plus they're a pain to cut off. I just tore a top trying to get the label off today.

    Does this annoy anyone else?

Yes, very much, if you cut them off they itch even more as the edges are sharper or something...

I almost always get rid off them. I don't cut them off, but snip out the threading, and removing the whole thing altogether, as Amz says, those little remnants that are left after cutting the label are even worse.

Unstitch them properly with a sharp razor/scalpel type knife. (ala Angelwhore)

I have recently become confused as to why clothes are worn the 'correct' way around. Clothes are designed to look smooth on the outside but are all shabby inside - like socks for example. Hence I tend to wear socks inside out as the smooth nice side is touching my skin. And at other opportunities possible I'll wear stuff inside out to feel nice against my skin. (not in public tho!).

yeah, i generally wear my socks inside out, cos the stitching gets under my toenails.

    Uncomfortable city!

I recently got a bunch of T-Shirts in a GAP store in LA.
I was delighted to find that instead of having a sewn-on label, the label was actually printed onto the inside of the T-shirt.
I wonder will it catch on? Ot would be nice to see some companies around here doing it...

Yeah me too, in the Santa Monica branch. They had lovely stuff as well, I've never wanted to have more money with me so much! The labels don't fade away either which is handy
