Does anyone know of a place (online) where I can buy a proper, quality hurl and sliotar and have it shipped to where I live in Alberta, Canada?

    Thanks

Why don't you just buy them in canada, i am sure that there is some company over there?

Oh, and also before you ask questions like that try google

    Thanks, I have tried both.

No one (Aside from the Irish) has heard of Hurling, especially in Western Canada (Alberta). And there is 15% of 3 Million people who are Irish or of Irish descent in Alberta.

    Google, Yahoo, Webcrawler . . .

I have exhausted them all and have been very unsatified with the VERY few results.

So, I thought that some one who would be in the know or closer to the source could give me a helping hand

There was a link for somewhere online posted here a few weeks ago. I'll see can I find it. It was far from cheap though.

    Edit:
Right after a bit of digging I can't find that link. However using our friend Google i managed to find this .

Now that doesn't state what size the hurl will be or anything else. Another option is Nuri sports. They sell adult indoor and childrens hurls. You may not be able to order just one hurl though.

I'm pretty sure I did see s site recently that sold hurls and sliotars. IIRC the site also sold GAA jerseys and tops as well.

    You have family in Ireland?
Could you perhaps try and get them to get a good proper hurley from a GAA club for you and send it out?
