My Medion 8008 won't start-on/off switch?

    I have been delighted wiyh my Aldi Medion pc, bought May 2003,, so happy I even got my brother to buy this year's(Better,and cheaper model.
    When I shut it down the other evening, a loud fast clicking noise came from the speakers. I tried to reboot it , to no avail. Alook inside has shown nothing obvious wrong, and my techie brother suspects a broken on /off switch.
    Does anyone know how to remove/test/replace this bit of kit? Or had the same problem? Or know a solution?
    I don't have a full sense of touch, and so I might have leaned on the switch a bit harder than you fully-sentient types!

    Just use a jumper to try and turn on the computer - remove it from the pins as soon as it starts or it will just turn itself off after 4 sec.

    Hi, Wheels of Ire here.Thanks for that. Suspecting that a jumper issn't what I the Mammy gives me for Christmas, I'm going to ring Peat's, and will let you know how I got on.
