    Hi,

Just wondering if this is a landlord or tenant responsability.

As it is an essential service, it doesnt seem to fall into the same category as TV license.

    Any ideas?

I live in rented accomadation and have to pay bin charges.
You may want to check your lease, but i think its up to you to pay.

    Ah I found out.

Its the 1983 housing act that covers this.

For stand alone dwellings (houses) the tenants are liable, for apartments and flats its the landlord.
