    Hi,

Is anybody going to buy the nokia 7610 that's out? I've been looking at them and have a 6600 at the moment. Thinking of upgrading! Anyone got one and like to post a little review?

How much would you pay for one of these?

    Thanks,

    Dave

Jesus Dave, you're a slave to the gadget makers! Even worse than me :D Is your poor ol' 6600 ready to be retired already? 7610 looks like a nice phone, even taking the odd keypad layout into account. I hope you dont have fat fingers (or don't have to ring anyone that has a 3 in their phone number).

I'm getting a new phone from work, maybe I could 'request' one of these? :D

I have had the 7610 now for about 3 or 4 weeks.. I am very impressed with it to be honest.. The keypad is a non issue after a few days.. I am at a stage where I can pretty much type without looking at the keypad now..

Feature wise, the screen is very impressive, as is the megapixel camera. It has the same version as Symbian as you have so you will know all about that. The phone comes with 8mb of memory built in and a 64mb mini mmc card as well..

The one thing I can't understand is why the handset was released without being stereo.. Mind you, Nokia very rarely ever release a single handset that encompasses the best features of all their models so I didnt expect to be perfectly happy..

I bought the phone as a stop gap for the 6630 however and will be selling the 7610 when the 6630 hits the market..

i'm thinking about hanging on for the 6260 or maybe the 6630 as my next Series 60 handset...

I have been using it now for about 2 months.. The only thing worrying me is that if I drop it I am afraid it will literally explode.. So I considering changing it for something more durable.. Otherwise, its a great phone.

    Hi
Can anyone tell me how the mp3 player on the nokia 7610, sounds?
I would really like to know because I will be getting this phone pretty soon, and I want to know how things like the MP3 player, and the loudspeaker sounds. Or even the video recorder, how is it?

    Please, do share. :)

jesus_thats_gre could you post up a pic taken with the 7610? and the mp3 ringtones- does it come with the functionality to hook it up to your pc to grab your own mp3's?
