    from rte.ie
RTÉ has announced details of its drama schedule for the 2004-2005 season.

Returning to Irish TV screens will be medical series 'The Clinic' and the second series of the investigative thriller 'Proof'.

Among the new series to be screened are 'Whiskey Echo', an Irish-Canadian co-production about aid workers in sub-Saharan Africa; the six-part family romance 'Love is the Drug' and the two-part drama 'Showbands'.

With 'Fair City' celebrating its 15th birthday in September, a commemorative special, 'Fair City: The Ten Commandments', will be screened and show how the soap's characters have sinned over the years.

Well I don't think you can really announance that Fair City is Back as it is on year round.

But other then that I will look froward to the new series of the Clinic (Just because it is not your cup of tea doesn't mean its not good).

As for Proof I will look forward to that Because I like that type of thing, The first season was a bit slow it might get better.

But then I will look forward to both of them because there the only ones on the TV.

Oh wait I will also look forward to the return of Ros Na Run.

Not looking forward to Whiskey Echo if previous Canadian Co-productions are to go by.

As for the Family Drama, I just don't like 7th Heaven (I suppose anything is better than that)

the second series of the investigative thriller 'Proof'.

Thats somthing to look forward to anyway, Proof is a good example of what RTE can pull off when they try. I'm glad to see there won't be another series of The Big Bow Wow, the first season ended on a cliffhanger of sorts but I really could'nt care less what happens to the characters because they were so wooden.

Proof wasn't too bad. Everything else RTE has vomited up over the last few years makes me want to stab myself in the eyes with a biro though. So I make sure to avoid the channel as much as possible. Its a sad day when I'd rather watch infomercials about a Superlogical Orthopaedic Exploding Air Bedinator or something than home grown drama...
